Members of the Zamboanga del Sur’s Liga ng Barangay paid a visit to the Quezon City Council as part of their cross-learning for good practices on disaster risk reduction and management last May 8, 2017. The guests, consisting of 150 Punong Barangays of the Province, were introduced to the legislative processes, innovations, and best practices of the City Council. The introduction also covered the landmark legislations of the City and focused on the creation of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO).
